Reach out to people in a time of special need.
New! Briarlake Cares - Volunteers meet in the church office conference room at 10:00 a.m. on the third Tuesday of each month (starting January 17, 2012) for the purpose of sending cards/notes to those who are in need of a special touch. The recipients might be an expectant mom on bed rest, the chronically ill, the unemployed, the homebound, the bereaved, those with family crises, hospital patients, or nursing home and assisted living residents. Volunteers are invited to come write notes of encouragement and to communicate what’s going on at Briarlake. For more information contact Susie Webb at 404-630-1385.
Hospital Visitation – Visit Briarlake members who are in the hospital.
Assisted Living/Nursing Home Visitation – Make a monthly visit to an assigned person.
Homebound Visitation - Make a monthly visit to an assigned person.
Medical Transportation - Agree to be on a list of people who may be called upon to provide transportation for medical treatment as needed.
